Dunsland is a residential home for 14 people with Learning disabilities.

It is important to Cephas Care that all the people we support remain as independent as possible for as long as possible. We try to ensure that their wishes are met in all areas of life.

It is essential that people feel secure and that the quality of their lives is rich and rewarding.

Mutual trust is the foundation stone of our philosophy. Being prepared to go 'the extra mile' can make the difference between feelings of acceptance rather than rejection. Having time to work through difficulties promotes security, stability, and consistency. Within a caring atmosphere everyone is encouraged to participate and contribute; thus developing self-esteem and a sense of responsibility and independence.

Clarence House

Clarence House is a 41-bed elderly Care Home, the home provides Residential Care, Palliative Care, Respite Care and Convalescent Care. It is situated on the Norfolk coastline, close to the holiday town of Cromer with its famous pier and crab-fishing heritage. A high proportion of the accommodation enjoys superb sea views, with the ever-changing light providing a relaxing backdrop. Originally a renowned hotel, the home now caters for residential clients and has benefited from a newly landscaped sea frontage, providing access to the grounds for those residents able to take advantage of the short walk.

The arrangement provides for a GP to visit on a routine basis every fortnight, to see a selection of patients on the day who would previously have been seen at the Medical Centre. In addition, a quarterly review is being held in conjunction with the Home Manager and Senior Carers at Clarence House, providing a proactive approach to the care that is offered.

The dining room is bright and cheerful, with views out to sea, our varied food menu is prepared by our onsite cooks and offers great nutritious home cooked food.
